What is Anycast DNS?

 

Traditional networks use the Unicast protocol, which lacks the ability to mitigate DDoS attacks globally, decrease latency between continents or make proper load balancing in multiple locations.

We have successfully launched our Anycast DDoS Protected DNS network. The new IP addresses are set to the server names. It will take some time to be updated on all DNS resolvers. The new Anycast DNS network is up to 10 times faster than the previously used Unicast DNS.
